In Chieti, Italy, students and teachers turned EU-GREW ideas into a city-wide initiative for sustainable living. Partnering with local authorities and Romanian schools, they proved how education can drive tangible civic and environmental transformation.

Twenty-one teachers from six countries co-created a year-long eTwinning project linking hundreds of students around Green Deal themes. The collaboration earned Quality Labels in all participating countries — a model of how joint learning can inspire real climate awareness.

Croatian Ambassador Dajana Jelavić presented EU-GREW’s innovative blend of environmental and emotional learning at the ENTER 2024 International Conference in Split. The project gained recognition for its scientific and pedagogical impact across Europe.

Finnish Ambassador Virpi Simpura presented EU-GREW in Chongqing, China, introducing the European Green Deal to over 300 educators. This milestone marks the project’s first expansion beyond Europe — showing that sustainability education knows no borders.

Throughout the National Hubs phase, the EEPEK coordination team provided continuous mentoring and pedagogical guidance to teachers in 27 countries. This ongoing digital support turned individual actions into a vibrant network of educators driving the Green Deal forward.

EU-GREW Ambassadors in Latvia led one of the largest ErasmusDays 2024 events, engaging students and teachers from eight countries. The celebration showcased how Green Deal education connects communities and reinforces European cooperation.

The EU-GREW Moodle platform became a digital ecosystem for climate education. Teachers and students collaborated across 27 countries, sharing lesson plans, quizzes, and live Q&A sessions with climate experts — proving that digital tools can make sustainability education truly borderless.
