The EU-GREW Moodle platform became a digital ecosystem for climate education. Teachers and students collaborated across 27 countries, sharing lesson plans, quizzes, and live Q&A sessions with climate experts — proving that digital tools can make sustainability education truly borderless.
Summary: The EU-GreW Moodle platform functioned as a living digital laboratory supporting all project participants after the Summer School. It hosted all teaching materials, modules, and video lectures, enabling teachers to access, adapt, and apply resources directly in their National Hubs. Through the platform, Prof. Christina Anagnostopoulou, expert on Climate Change at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, together with the EEPEK coordination team, offered continuous academic and technical support. Teachers in different countries used Moodle to organise their local activities, share results, and involve students in online Q&A sessions about climate change and the European Green Deal.
Key Highlights:
- Hosted all EU-GreW Summer School materials and additional resources as an open repository for long-term use.
 - Enabled teachers to create interactive quizzes, online lessons, and peer forums, transforming Moodle into a collaborative European classroom.
 - Provided students with access to scientific expertise through real‑time Q&A sessions with climate scientists.
 - Connected educators across 27 countries, reinforcing EU‑GreW’s network and supporting National Hub formation.

Impact: The Moodle platform became a cornerstone of EU-GreW’s digital innovation strategy. It extended the project’s reach and lifespan, creating a sustainable ecosystem for collaboration among teachers, experts, and students. This model aligns with Erasmus+ priorities on digital transformation, demonstrating how Jean Monnet actions can blend scientific knowledge, pedagogical innovation, and European collaboration in one unified space.
